  • Abstract
A novel technique that utilizes terahertz high resolution molecular spectra to quantitative chemical analysis of exhaled human breath is described. We successfully identified and quantified concentrations of acetone, methanol, ethanol, acetaldehyde and dimethyl sulfide in expired human breath samples collected from healthy donors.
