Abstract
According to the situation that the number of real-time measurements and sensors in distribution system is limited, a new method is discussed for the topology identification of distribution system. The concept of optional matching loop power is raised in this paper. Based on optional matching loop power, several possible topologies are found, then run state estimator in every possible topology respectively with the common measurement, and select the topology of which the estimated result has the highest matching degree as the correct topology. The tests have proved that this method can find the correct topology with a high calculation speed.
