            Abstract : 
The problem to be considered in this paper is code synchronization in data communication systems using pseudonoise (PN) signals based on linear feedback shift register (LFSR) sequences. A novel non-linear filtering algorithm for such systems that uses high-order Markov chain for signal representation is proposed. This algorithm shows the ability to reduce PN signal synchronization time.
