Abstract :
An envelope following algorithm using both the quadratic and the exponential approximations of the envelope has been used for the simulation of a DC-DC converter with closed loop control. This simulation proved to be more efficient than that performed with the envelope following algorithm implemented in SPECTRE RF. This result is obtained due to a more efficient implementation of the quadratic approximation of the envelope.
