Abstract :
The paper presents system identification using the least square method and controller optimization for the identified system by applying genetic algorithms. Based on analysis of the methods a program in MATLAB was developed that was completed by Graphic User Interface. The created GUI presents a user friendly tool which facilitates learning and teaching of topics dealing with system identification, development and optimization of system controllers using genetic algorithms.
