Abstract
Interference in communication links in wireless networks such as tactical ad hoc networks, vehicular networks, sensor networks or multi-hop heterogeneous networks can cause repeated destruction of data routes because of the mobility of interference sources or communication devices. Consequently, continual loss of data and service interruptions can occur. To provide durable, reliable data routing that ensures continuous service, we propose an Interference-aware Preemptive Routing (IPR) in wireless mobile networks. IPR examines the risk level of each node against interference sources and selects the most reliable path for data delivery. Through simulation results, we verify that the proposed scheme can preemptively avoid route losses and achieve reliable data delivery.
