Abstract :
In this paper, we propose feedback strategies for multiuser heterogeneous Rayleigh fading channel under a finite feedback constraint. The feedback strategies are derived through a set of feedback probabilities which can be transformed into a set the thresholds. The partial derivative of sum rate with respect to a threshold is used to approximate the sum rate loss. Our proposed algorithm obtains a set of feedback probabilities for users according to the approximated sum rate loss. The computational complexity of the proposed algorithm is then further reduced. Simulation shows that the performance of the proposed low-complexity algorithm is close to that of a complicated greedy algorithm.
