Abstract :
A system and methods for providing high-quality media services such as IPTV and smart TV in a cloud computing environment are described. The system includes a streaming based cloud media transmission system and thin/zero client type set top (STB). We describe streaming-based cloud media service system, functional architecture and applications. Our system provides high-definition media contents remotely through thin-client STB.
