Abstract :
This paper analyses the precondition, applicable occasions, advantages and drawbacks of several rateless codes performance indices. And then presents the ideal rateless code model. After that, we introduce several novel indices such as average delay, maximum memory consumption and uniformity recovery entropy according to the proposed model. The simulation results show that the proposed indices and capacity-achievability can describe the rateless codes performance very well.
