Abstract
In order to improve the quality of the remotely generated microwave signals, we propose a novel tunable dispersion compensation approach with only a tunable laser and a nonlinearly chirped fiber Bragg grating, whose slope of the relative time delay curve is different with the variation of wavelength. The structure of the desired nonlinearly chirped FBG is designed to verify the feasibility of achieving dynamic dispersion compensation for links from 10 to 50 km.
