Abstract
This paper proposes an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing passive optical network (OFDM-PON) scheme by using frequency hopping at physical layer to enhance system security. The transmitted signal is concealed with frequency hopping pattern, which is generated by Latin Square. A 10 Gbps FH-OFDM signal transmission system has been realized over 25 km standard single mode fiber (SSMF). Simulation results show our proposed scheme has excellent anti-interference and anti-intercept capability.
