Abstract
This paper proposes a hardware structure based on FPGA. This structure can be used to measure sub-millimeter level displacement of the target object such as bridge and building. Second, this paper puts forward a method of coordinate rotation algorithm to eliminate the displacement ambiguity existing in the original algorithm. This method uses fewer resources to eliminate existing displacement ambiguity. In order to testify the performance of the improved method, in this paper we describe detail of hardware structure design which can be implemented on FPGA. Finally, this paper verifies the hardware structure by ModelSim software simulation. Simulation results show the maximum error is only 0.0819 mm, and the first simulation result appears at 36us. So it can satisfy the practical application requirements.
