Abstract :
The azimuth resolution of forward looking radar is limited. Aiming at forward looking radar with linear array, the azimuth signal is modeled as the sum of exponents and a super-resolution algorithm based on Root-MUSIC is presented. With the estimation of Doppler frequency in each range cell, the coordinates of scatterers can be calculated. Finally, the simulation results prove the validity of the algorithm.
