Abstract :
This paper presents a sector-factor based dynamic soft frequency reuse scheme (DSFR-SF) with inter-cell interference coordination for orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) system. The goal of the proposed scheme is to realize the resource allocation fairness at both cell-level and user-level while obtain the balance between the fairness and throughput of the whole system. The proposed algorithm consist of two algorithms. Both of them formulate a novel sector factor to evaluate the priority of resource allocation at cell-level first, then consider the scheduling scheme for user resource assignment next. We evaluate the performance by using system level simulation and the results validate the effectiveness of the proposed solution.
