Abstract :
Satellite mobile communication is free from the geography and climate restrictions, thus is becoming more and more popular recently. But with the increment of user number and the amount of data, the original signal antenna system using simple modulation modes can´t meet the demand. In this paper, firstly, we introduce the cyclic prefixed offset-QAM-OFDM modulation and its special case which refers to offset-single-carrier (OSC); secondly, to compensate the loss of spectrum efficiency, dual-polarized antenna is introduced and the formula of SINR with the widely-linear-minimum-mean-square-estimation (WLMMSE) equalization is derived; thirdly, to improve spectrum efficiency and fairness, a frequency-domain packet scheduling based on OSC and dual-polarized antenna with the restriction of contiguous resource allocation is proposed. Simulation results confirm that dual-polarized antenna system achieves almost the double spectrum efficiency comparing with that of the single antenna system.
