Abstract :
The design problem of mobile beacon-assisted localization algorithm in wireless sensor network is investigated. For the path planning problem of mobile beacon in irregular deployment region, a new method of mobile beacon group consists of five mobile beacons is proposed. One beacon called center beacon is placed on center and the other four beacons called direction beacon placed separately on the up, down, left and right side of the communication radius circle of the center beacon. These beacons preserve a special formation while moving and choose the path dynamically. Simulation results show that, compared to the static path planning algorithm, the algorithm proposed in this paper can be applied to the irregular deployment region and perform well in paths.
