Abstract :
Broadcast nature of wireless channels makes wireless network much vulnerable to jamming attacks that may simply destroy the whole network by blocking all useful services. One of the most distinguishing characteristics of distributed wireless access networks is that it is difficult to have perfect information regarding to jammers. In this paper, we exploit game theory to analyze the jamming attacks with system uncertainties. The iterations among transmitters and jammers at the MAC Layer are modeled as a game. In addition taking access points into consideration, a two-phase eliminated method under noncooperative repeated game framework is proposed to avoid the transmission collision. At the end of this paper, simulation results show that the maximum feasible throughput rates are dramatically increased with the penalty terms.
