Abstract
In this paper a switchable coplanar waveguide (CPW) band-pass resonator using Radio Frequency Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (RF-MEMS) is presented. The switching ability of the CPW band-pass resonator is improved by incorporating RF-MEMS switches on the CPW band-pass resonator. The proposed resonator is designed and simulated at 2.45 GHz to verify its switching ability. The simulated result shows, the proposed design has acceptable insertion and return loss both in ON and OFF states. The proposed switchable CPW band-pass resonator will be an ideal candidate in future multi-band wireless system.
