A research on port-oriented bulk commodity supply chain

With fast development of economic and technology all over the world, the prosperity of bulk commodity markets raise more demands on bulk commodity logistics. And more and more bulk commodity transaction platform have been established in China. Therefore the problem that how to make more contribution to the supply chain and provide more value-added services become a new matter faced by the port authorities. Most of the ports at home are still remain in traditional state and play a passive role in the chain. This article offering up supply chain orientation as basic theory, analyzed that whether port-oriented bulk commodity supply chain can be built. It turns out that the new business model should be constructed.
