Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the design of a visual module, which employs a novel Principal Components Analysis (PCA) based algorithm to fuse collected multi-focus images. The data transmission is performed using wireless communication. Simulation results are presented which illustrate the performance of the algorithm and confirm its suitability for implementation in a resource-constrained embedded system.
