  • Abstract
    A novel scanning based DEV-DEV beam discovery scheme with cross-layer design is proposed in this letter. The coordinate axes alignment is performed based on the extracted LOS multipath component. In the sequel the PNC aided beam discovery is conducted. The proposed scheme mainly considers LOS scenario, while it is also applicable to NLOS scenario. Analysis and Simulations show the improvement achieved over conventional scheme in terms of latency.
