Abstract :
Central catadioptric system has become a very active topic as its wider field of view compared with conventional perspective cameras while preserving a single viewpoint. Because of the nonlinear projection characteristics, conic curve is the basic element in central catadioptric system. In this paper, we analyze the projection process of central catadioptric system based on the unifying model, discuss the fitting issue by combining conventional fitting method and corner detection algorithm, experimental results are also shown.
