  • Abstract
    The devices working on-line would still have varied of problems. Even they have passed active conformance testing. So an on-line testing approach is needed to make sure the conformance of the devices. In this paper we propose a passive conformance testing method applied to 6LoWPAN neighbor discovery protocol and header compression protocol on-line test. This test method can begin the test at any time while the IUT is working on-line without human intervention. In addition, we add structure inspection algorithms to test the conformance of data structures. Several experiments have been performed to verify the validation of the testing method and the results have proved the test method can be applied to the 6LoWPAN conformance on-line test.
