Abstract :
This paper contributes to a requirement analysis of generic System Under Test (SUT) adapter in protocol conformance testing and provides a common framework to build the SUT adapter. The research problem addressed in this paper is how to communicate with different SUTs at a single test execution node and how to adapt multiple communication protocols. The problem is addressed by a connection-based and component-based approach in the generic framework design. The prototype for the proposed framework is implemented and validated in a TTCN-3 conformance testing platform.
