Abstract :
The Smart Grid includes power generation, transmission, substation, distribution utilization and dispatch, is an international power industry to meet future challenges (global resources and environment question) of common choice. The first half of 2011, the global Internet digital distribution institution (IANA) announced that global IPv4 addresses pool has run out, IPv6 times to come. To support smart grid electric power information and communications network to IPv6 the transition will be ultimately. The IPv6 address forecast model of the Smart Grid has discussed. The IPv6 addresses suggestion of the Smart Grid has proposed.
