Abstract :
Precast concrete (PC) is an advancement of technology in the construction. As structural component of PC building, how to improve manufacturing quality and productivity of PC elements is one of the critical problems of building industrialization. Taking advantage of Internet of Things (IOT) technology, this paper designs and implements a new management system to trace the manufacturing process, optimize manufacturing schedule and analyze product quality problems to control product quality. In this system, a special detachable RFID chip structure is designed and applied for manufacturing and construction environment. The RFID has become the media between PC elements and PC management database, and artificial intelligent technology is used to guide workers´ operation and assist in decision-making. The system has been successfully applied in shanghai affordable housing and low-rent housing project, which ensured the quality and production efficiency of PC building.
