Abstract
Radio frequency identification technology (RFID) is an essential technology in the realm of Internet of things (IoT). One interesting topic in IoT research is to detect the location of an object of interest (OoI). An object with an attached RFID tag can be localized via determining the backscatter signal source of its associated RFID tag. Various RFID tag localization schemes have been proposed. With the knowledge of direction of the tag of interest (ToI) is helpful in estimate the localization of ToI. This work presents new measurement results and some experimental results of the angle of arrival (AoA) estimation of a commercial passive UHF RFID tag.
