Abstract :
Timeliness and uncertainty are the important features in emergency response process. One of the basic needs of users is how to query data from a variety of traditional and sensor data sources quickly. In this paper, a novel service model is proposed, which can consistently encapsulates sensor data, traditional relational data and Web services, and supports joint-queries flexibly. Using the service model, one can query multiple data services through some simple keywords and return synthesized results in emergency management.
