  • Abstract
The effect of electrospray produced micro-droplets on the condensation of polar vapors is investigated theoretically and experimentally with the steam condenser. The considered phenomena include the equilibrium charged micro-droplet with the vapor phase and the electrohydrodynamic vapor flow induced by the drift of charged droplets. Experimental investigation of electrospray-supported condensation confirms the significant improvement in the condensation rate..
