            Abstract : 
A novel tunable substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) antenna is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. With loaded ferrite slabs, the operation frequency of the antenna can be tuned by means of a magnetic biasing field. The proposed design is verified by simulations and experiments. The measurement results show that the tunable frequency range is more than 10.5% and antenna gain is more than 5.0 dBi within the frequency tuning range.
