Abstract :
This paper investigates the impact of the mobility to the system performance in different mobility scenarios in 3GPP LTE DL. The ergodic system capacity based on moment generating function (MGF) for post-processed SINR is used for the measure of system performance. All the parameters of MGF function are derived analytically including all channel impairments. The system simulations results in realistic mobility scenarios with 3, 10, 30, 60, 80 and 120 km per hour in LTE DL network confirm an clear impact of the mobile velocity to the ergodic system capacity and demonstrate about 25% loss in system performance.
