Abstract :
Feasibility of recently proposed leaky-wave antenna based on non-Foster-element-based transmission line is analyzed by full-wave numerical simulations. Analyzed structure comprises an ordinary microstrip line periodically loaded with non-Foster negative capacitors operating in RF frequency band. The parameters of negative capacitors were taken from the measurements on the prototypes developed in ultra-fast OpAmp technology. Obtained results indicate possibility of building up the leaky-wave antenna demonstrator with beam-squint-free radiation within the band 300 MHz - 750 MHz.
