Abstract :
This paper provides an overview of the calibration techniques, tools, and challenges surrounding the development of a Cylindrical Polarimetric Phased Array Radar (CPPAR) demonstrator for the US Multifunction Phased Array Radar (MPAR) effort. The calibration of this system is being carried out at multiple levels, using multiple techniques, in order to achieve the best possible sidelobe and polarimetric performance, and each of these techniques are discussed herein.
