Abstract :
This paper presents a receive windowing (RW) based demodulation technique for mobile OFDM systems. With the aid of RWs, we firstly split an OFDM block into non-overlapped intervals, and then proposed a weighted combination to compensate for the channel time-variation across windowed blocks. The optimal design for RWs is considered with respect to maximizing the signal-to-interference plus noise ratio. Both theoretical analysis and simulation examples illustrate the superior performance of our method over the conventional demodulators.
