Abstract
During the last decades, a number of models have been introduced to address different perspectives of Collaborative Networked Organizations (CNO). Many of them focus on system architecture, reference models, competency modeling, process modeling, as well as the life cycle of CNOs. In this paper, we present a goal modeling approach which can be used to facilitate requirements analysis for CNOs. Goals, environmental factors, agents, and the relationship between these elements are covered. We classify agents into intra-organization agents and cross-organization agents by the ownership, which is according to whether the agents are owned by a single participant of the CNO. The probability of satisfaction is used to evaluate and refine the goal model. This provides a numerical measurement on the goal models with CNO´s constraints. Our approach has been applied to an online music education system with encouraging results.
