Abstract :
Authors developed a trusted ecommerce data service as a public infrastructure. Ecommerce trading participants, commodities and their makers are to register the specified information to the data service. Both ecommerce players and consumers can get trusted commodity description through the data service. To provide users with a precise trustworthiness of the registered information, this article proposed an evaluation framework. The framework is composed of a trustworthiness model and an evaluation model. The trustworthiness model is to identify the evaluation subjects, trustworthiness factors, trustworthiness indicators, and the value scope of trustworthiness indicators. The evaluation model is to identify the evaluation principles, the related processes and tools, the worthiness manipulation, and service provision and display styles. This article provides the details of the proposed trustworthiness framework and models. A prototype of trustworthiness service has been developed. The experiment is basically encouraging and the service has been put into trial for bulk stock and tourism.
