Abstract
As part of an ongoing pursuit of technologies for integrated millimeter-wave radar sensors, we present simulation and measurement results of two antennas in LTCC technology for the ISM band at 122 GHz on Hirai´s CS71 substrate material. Both antennas share common design features, such as the feeding microstrip line, the H-shaped coupling aperture and the via-fence, but differ in their parameters, the parasitic element (a quadratic patch and three stripes) and therefore, their bandwidth and radiation pattern.
