Abstract :
This paper presents the experimental results of plasma reflector antenna implementation in industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) communication band. A reflector antenna with rounded shape is proposed to collimate beam radiated by an omnidirectional antenna operating at 2.4GHz in particular direction. The smallest scan beam can be maneuvered in 48° step to cover 360°. The measured scanning gain is 9dBi, the side lobe level (SLL) and the cross polarization remain below than -10dBi.
