Abstract :
This paper investigates a 2D experimental cooperative location system in wireless sensor network (WSN) based on received signal strength indicator (RSSI) measures. These measurements are carried out with Crossbow Imote2 sensors in indoor environment. The cooperative localization technique is based on the weighted least squares (WLS) algorithm, where the weights are estimated according to the quality of the range and position estimation. The link quality indicator (LQI) is used to identify the channel condition between sensors. The experimental results show that the performances of cooperative localization algorithm are better than those obtained by least-squares algorithm.
