Abstract :
The effect of a high temperature treatment on the electrical properties of LTCC (low temperature co-fired ceramics) modules is investigated by means of ring resonators which are stacked in different layers. The effective permittivities and quality factors are determined in a broad frequency range and for treatments with temperatures up to 1000°C. Beyond about 800°C the module performance degrades.
