Abstract :
Recently multi-port all-resonator-based filtering networks have attracted a lot of attention for application in diplexers and multiplexers. This paper investigates a new multiplexing topology with a bifurcated frequency distribution network between the input port and four output channels. The coupling matrices for various guard-band to pass-band ratios have been achieved using a direct optimisation method. The external quality factors, self couplings and inter-resonator couplings are characterised. Guidelines for generating the coupling matrices are provided.
