Abstract :
Slot dual dipole antennas mounted on miniature elliptical substrate lenses are proposed for plasma diagnostic millimeter wave imaging systems. Compared to previous and current antennas with balanced outputs, slot dual dipole antennas eliminate the necessity of a balun, while maintaining the advantages of dual dipole antennas including low sidelobes and wide bandwidth.
