Abstract
Radar is one of the most important sensors in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System). Therefore, accurate target detection and selection of the radar influence the whole performance of ADAS. However, usually the radar is equipped near a front bumper and always exposed to small accident or vehicle vibration. In this environment, it is easy to make misalignment angle of radar. In this paper, we will introduce the automatic horizontal alignment scheme to correct environmental misalignment; the scheme can be used while driving a car. Also, the test result of actual vehicle with misaligned radar will be presented to test a performance of the proposed scheme.
