Abstract :
The problem of controlling the π-model induction motor with magnetic saturation is considered in this proposed research. Direct Torque Control (DTC) of induction motor has been developed since three decades. Furthermore many techniques have been proposed to improve the performance of the induction machines that using the DTC drives in industry. However, all the previous models are based on the linear model of the machine for approximation. This is not the exact model and there is no guarantee that the process will work outside the saturation region of the flux, especially in large rating of induction machines. In this paper, multiple fuzzy logic controllers are used as a solution for improvement in the performance of the saturated model DTC controller. This is done via stator resistance estimation based on ANFIS observer and by minimizing the torque ripples of the three level inverter. Also ANFIS speed observer is used instead of speed sensor for cost reduction.
