Abstract
In this paper, a dynamic antenna selection strategy in distributed antenna system is proposed to reduce the overall system power consumption. By real-time channel estimation, the average channel gain matrix between users and antenna array is acquired and the antenna selection strategy and power allocation can be adjusted. Simulation results demonstrate that the scheme can reduce the power of the antenna array and ensure the communication quality as well. Especially when the terminal is apparently moving, the location information can play an important role in energy saving.
