Abstract :
In this paper, a new multi-region conformal multiresolution time-domain (MR-CMRTD) scheme based on Daubechies´ wavelets, which utilizes the locally conformal technology, the concept of effective dielectric constant (EDC) and multi-region decomposition technology, is proposed and applied to solve 3-D electromagnetic scattering problems for curved dielectric objects. It is numerically demonstrated that the proposed MR-CMRTD scheme can effectively solve the invalidation of Maxwell curl equations on the mutation surfaces of dielectric and reduce the staircase error.
