Abstract :
A method for peak power calculation for microwave burst signal is presented. The method is based on Time-Frequency Joint Analysis and software based on the method is developed. A comparison of analyzing result with that from a spectrum analyzer shows that the method can calculate the peak power of microwave burst signal accurately. The method also extracts information of peak power arriving time and corresponding frequency. The method can be applied in high peak power burst signal analysis without the request of constant duty cycle and amplitude.
