Abstract :
Based on the coordinate transformation theory, the novel shrinking cloak and the rotation cloak for visual change of the shielded objects are proposed which are used to masquerade the position, shape, material and size information of the shielded object. The permeability and permittivity of the cloaks are designed. The numerical simulation results illustrate that the shielded object covered by the cloaks and the equivalent illusion object have the same electromagnetic response. In order to meet the engineering application, we used a multi-layered homogeneous anisotropic material instead of the inhomogeneous anisotropic material in the transformation region and the layer´s thickness optimization is obtained through the genetic algorithm.
