This paper conducts a comprehensive investigation based on idiom in four-year series of textbooks of undergraduate and gets the distribution of different grades idioms. We also analyze idioms recurrence characteristic for four textbooks. The result shows that the idioms in undergraduate textbook series are a random distribution, lack of systematic. More than 90% of idioms in these textbooks are not included in the Vocabulary Syllabus.
