Abstract :
This paper proposes a power control scheme to mitigate the cross-subframe co-channel interference (CCI) in LTE-advanced dynamic TDD system. In dynamic TDD system, each cell can configure its uplink (UL) / downlink (DL) configuration adapting to the UL/DL traffic status, and CCI is then introduced due to the non-uniform UL/DL configurations. In our proposed scheme, each eNB adjusts the transmit power in some specific DL subframes which may cause severe CCI to the neighboring cells´ UL transmission. The determination of the power adjustment is based on the UL traffic status of the neighboring cells. Quantized power levels are adopted in the adjustment for more practical application. Simulation results show that the proposed power control scheme can mitigate the base station (BS)-BS CCI effectively, and part of the DL inter-cell interference (ICI) as well, especially for light data traffic case.
